This week’s photo challenge is guest hosted by Jared Bramblett. It’s about using reflections in the composition of a shot ~ in a window, a puddle, a mirror.

I took note of his tips for beginners like me. Like this one: Face a reflective surface head-on to compose a self-portrait, or change your perspective so the reflection focuses on another part of the area around you.

Take a look at this window at El Fornet in Barcelona.  It is beyond big.  In this photo, you can see a reflection of me, a clock, teapots and buildings on Travessera de Gràcia.

But it’s what you can’t see that’s jaw-slacking.

These Catalans know their way around an oven.  And they know how to please.

Alba hands me a buttery pastry fresh from the oven, golden and just slightly crispy on the outside, with melted chocolate swirled throughout.

It satisfies my morning sweet tooth at an oh-so-indulgent level.

Step aside, Twinkies.
