Ideas that spark w/ wisdom are tough to concoct

& put into practice since 1/20.

But I’m not giving up because I think of ideas the way I think of Buffleheads,

those bouyant, tiny, large-headed, striking, black-&-white ducks

that winter-shelter in a nearby pond.

Underwater half the time.

I need to use patience & care as I scan. VOILA!!

I spot one doing that abrupt-vanish-resurface move & I snap w/ recognition:

IDEAS!

  1. I admit that I’ve got a thing for these Buffleheads. (It’s not just me, mind you. Peregrine Falcon, Snowy Owl, Bald Eagle, Golden Eagle, Red-tailed Hawk, Great Horned Owl, Eurasian Eagle Owl and Cooper’s Hawk love them too, tasty morsels that they be.) Seriously though, the Bufflehead was the first species of duck to be displayed on a coat of arms, it was admired so much even back in the day.
