WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE: in my head and heart and the Anza-Borrego. Take a lesson, folks, no more being dormant. Flower. A metaphor in 420 characters and 9 lines.

Anza-Borrego, a Way-Forward metaphor.

Cartloads of conditions colluded (rainrain in the fall & winter,

w/ the latter cold enough to lock the rain in the ground)

to create an explosion of flowers

ONLY because the seeds had remained dormant

rather than fight to survive, er, desert dry & heat.

People?

We’ve stayed dormant & it’s time to bloom, MoveOn, Resist

but keep blooming, unlike the ephemerals in the Anza-Borrego.

PATTY

Caveat: Contined dormancy in the Time of Trump just isn’t an option.
