Some losses are hard to take; but, at least with baseball, “it’s just one game” gives solace. I have never seen Big Papi so mad, though. Almost needed one of those TV warnings for viewers.
Any baseball is beautiful. No other package comes as close to the ideal design and utility. It is a perfect object for a man’s hand. Pick it up and it instantly suggests its purpose; it is meant to be thrown a considerable distance–thrown hard and with precision. (dear Roger Angell wrote this)
