Habits that I’m, well, in the habit of:

I consider that any spot I’m in has potential for discovery

even if it’s “only” the sidewalk in front of yoga;

so I think “this is a wilderness” & then wait

because I anticipate that something new will reveal itself;

I try to be brave & ask questions

even if such reveals my tank of ignorance.

Birding helped me develop these behaviors,

but living life every day hones the habits.

Morgan Freeman’s “Our Future” and the “Short Answers to Hard Questions on Climate Change” is a great reference to reply to Climate Deniers without sputtering to death in frustration.
