My blogging partner and bestie, Patty, exudes optimism.  Whenever I find myself in dire straights, she’s there. With take-it-to-the-bank profound words.

And she’s not above channeling that edgy philospher, Dr. Seuss.

Double-whammying. Works for me.

I have heard there are troubles of more than one kind. Some come from ahead and some come from behind. But I’ve bought a big bat. I’m all ready you see. Now my troubles are going to have troubles with me!

Patty’s got my back.  In the meantime, I’m at the Palm Beach Mall.

Optimism reigns.

  1. I don’t have a bat, but I do have a cello, which I could use if need be. 🙂 Hopefully I won’t have to, although my teacher and luthier detect evidence of newer-than-1850 parts here and there on her body. For instance, perhaps the newer scroll and peg box and patched back were a result of the 19th Century cellist warding off trouble! My theory is that the replacement parts have given her added resonance with all those tiny extra glue particles shaking around.
