Pause to Remember

They shall grow not old,
as we that are left grow old.

Age shall not weary them,
nor the years condemn.

At the going down of the sun,
and in the morning

We will remember them.

Commemorate Veterans Day in your own way ~

maybe read parts of this book, a personal account self-published in 1946, here.

Or read a few letters here, written from battlefields and homefronts.

Do you have a letter to share? Send a copy (not original) to the Legacy Project, PO Box 53250, Washington, DC 20009.

When the standards are furled and cased for the last time, only stories and memories remain.

Don’t miss this YouTube.
