Not just

leaving the sedum & ornamental grasses for good winter visual interest you know.

It’s Bird food.

I also leave the the seedheads of black-eyed susans, coneflowers, Liatris & Joe Pye weed.

&, no, I didn’t prune back the hostas, daylilies, bee balms, astilbes & peonies.

I just let the mystery be as one song advises

while I let the harvest go to seed as another one prompts.

& about this there’s no

“not just.”
