Red. Orange. Yellow. Green. Blue. Indigo. Violet.

Donde termina el arco iris,
en tu alma o en el horizonte?

Where does the rainbow end,
in your soul or on the horizon?

― Pablo Neruda, The Book of Questions

  1. Pablo Neruda wrote his poetry in green ink, saying it was “color de esperanza” – the color of hope. Pretty cool, hey, lady? Beautiful picture.

On double rainbows: One time, way back, we were racing (in our car) to get to the Point Judith Blessing of the Fleet road race–a 10-miler!!–and suddenly there was, first,a violent thunderstorm, and then, second, a blaze of sun and a double rainbow. Then third, we relaxed like a stuck balloon, got to the race, and ran like, if not the wind, then like a lazy Pablo Neruda love poem.
